Twitter update the hugely popular Facebook application and does not allow users to see their friends who are both using the service. The specific function has now been deactivated. Facebook admit there was a problem and announced a collaboration with Twitter tackle the problem.
It is not clear whether the blockade was intentional or due to technological problems. A spokesman said on Twitter TechCrunch technology specialist website: "Facebook told us that they have blocked the update to our application, and we are working to solve them."
Twitter application has seven million users, and ranked the top 40 Facebook applications. Application that allows users to link their accounts with two separate network, and allows concurrent updates the status of the two locations.
